Maintenance Technician- Wheel
Job Description:
Advanced technician with the knowledge and skills to affect major repairs with little to no guidance. This level of Technician may also be responsible for training, coaching, and/or mentoring junior technicians. Employees at this level are expected to work autonomously as well as head up complex repair tasks for the assignments issued to them.
This Candidate will need to have experience with air brakes, diesel engines, transmissions, axel, re-gen’s, electrical including A/C and heater experience. He/she would have full knowledge of diagnostic tools and reading output.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Able to coordinate the efforts of multiple technicians on complex repair projects,
- with little to no supervision
- Troubleshoots various systems, including electrical, drive train, hydraulic, HVAC,
- brake, engine, and suspension
- Identifies needed repairs and perform corrective action
- Writes on the repair order an accurate, clear, and detailed description of the cause
- of failure and the repair procedure(s) performed. Documents all work performed
- and recommended on the repair order
- Uses diagnostic equipment to detect and isolate faults and interpret test results
- Tests equipment following completion of repairs to ensure proper operation
- Assists other technicians with repair procedures as needed
Annual Salary Range:
$35,000 – $45,000+
Valid driver’s license with no major violations, Commercial Driver’s License preferred.
Maintenance Technician- Fabrication
Job Description:
Advanced technician with the knowledge and skills to affect major repairs with little to no guidance. This technician may also be
responsible for training, coaching, and/or mentoring junior technicians. Employees at this level are expected to work autonomously as well as head up complex repair tasks for the assignments issued to them.
This Candidate should have full knowledge of TIG, MIG, Plasma, and Torching welding.
He/she would also have understanding of schematics and blueprints.
